Dr. Lexie Hurst

Dr. Hurst has wanted to become a veterinarian since she was in the first grade, always interested in science and the human-animal bond. She received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Tennessee in 2017 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021.

Dr. Hurst became interested in integrative medicine after hearing an acupuncture success story her first year of veterinary school. After that, she became the co-president of the Integrative Medicine Club at the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine, which hosted events to spread interest and awareness about integrative medicine to veterinary students.

In her free time, she enjoys doing anything outdoors and spending time with her husband, Phillip, and their pets, Sidd and Steve.
